It is also about the sharing of experiences between marginalized people and the happiness of being what one is. In an ideal world, it would not be a political film, but a simple romantic comedy.

Inspired by Saadat Hassan Mato’s short story with the same name “Dhuaan ” is about the psyche of a young boy, we can all relate to. Bewildered by the darker tone of our world, he struggles to understand the difference between the flesh of animals and humans. To him both occupy a similar space-time dimension, both have blood running under them. Sometimes the inquisitive side of children brings them face to face with the truth, a truth they are barely capable of understanding. His own body betrays the very foundation of his ethics and all that he is left with is frustration.

In this climate of Neo McCarthyism, immigrants endeavor to survive this new world doctrine, which is in direct violation of the 1948 Geneva convention.
