O Meri Ammo

O meri Amo is a film made for a private TV channel that Fasi wrote for the Mothers day. The story revolves around 4 women; a failing actress and her young daugher whom she is trying make an aspiring child star, a noosy neighbor who digs her nose into everything that may never be her business and Amo a noble elderly transgender person who self descirbed herself as eununch. The tale is about love and society. It sheds light on the unacceptable and judgmental nature of society.
After the screening of the film, we will invite Faseeh Bari Khan, the writer of the film, to join us for a chat with us and our audience.

The passionate filmmaker, Umar Saeed, builds a strong connection with the subjects of his experimental yet intimate documentary “Trans-lit”. His close camera captions are quite distinct and ultimately makes one feel like partaking in the on-screen conversation of artivism (art+activism) for transgender rights.
